Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet it remains a leading cause of death among women in Zambia. The solution lies in awareness and regular screening.
What is screening?
It’s a simple Pap smear test that detects abnormal cells before they turn cancerous. It takes just minutes but can save years of life.
Why Zambia?
High HPV prevalence makes early detection critical. Women between 25–49 should prioritize regular screening.
Breaking myths:
- Screening is not painful.
- Feeling healthy doesn’t mean you’re safe.
- It’s for all sexually active women.
Take action:
Encourage sisters, mothers, and friends. Prevention starts with a single test.
